About the Georgia Tech Chapter of Delta Upsilon

Founded in 1834, Delta Upsilon is the only greek organization that was founded on the principles of Non Secrecy and Non Hazing. Unlike most fraternities, we believe we don't have to hide behind secret meetings and secret rituals; all our meetings and rituals are open for anyone to come and observe. Our chapter, founded in 1957, prides itself on our commitment to uphold these values.

Our brothers believe that hazing divides a fraternity rather than fostering brotherhood therefore internationally Delta Upsilon was founded on the principle of non hazing.

At Georgia Tech we pride ourselves on being a diverse fraternity open to men of all backgrounds and walks of life; we refuse to look for people to fit some generic mold, rather we challenge men to improve themselves through service, learning and brotherhood.

Our brothers enjoy hanging out with one another, whether it is a formal on a riverboat in Nashville, TN, a ski trip in Snowshoe, WV or just simply watching a movie in someone's room. Our fall Foam Party is the social event of the semester. We know how to have fun.

Our brotherhood also places high value on academic success. We reward brothers that excel academically at our semester scholarship dinner. We routinely have study sessions at the house and rest assured older brothers would be more than happy to tutor you in a subject that you are struggling in.
